The Buskopolis Festival of Cinematic Oddities is being produced by occasional filmmaker Tim Busko.  Tim studied filmmaking at Pittsburgh Filmmakers and has had films screen at festivals at home and abroad.

The festival takes place at the historic Clifton Theater in downtown Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, USA.  The theater is made available to the festival through the graciousness of owner Dave Peoples, without whom the festival would not be possible.

The Oddity Festival - What’s It All About?

The Buskopolis Festival of Cinematic Oddities returns to Huntingdon's Clifton 5 Theater October 19 - 24, 2020 to explore some of the square pegs of movie history, as well as the proud misfits of present-day filmdom who defy genre. The hope of the festival is to unearth oddities from all corners of the filmmaking world - without concern for vintage, budget or notoriety. The festival will host a curated selection of offbeat and unusual feature films as well as juried screenings of international short films. Guest speakers will be on hand to introduce our features and Q&A will be held with our visiting filmmakers.

Admission to the all-ages program during our Saturday matinee is free to anyone 18 and under.

In an era of infinite choices, audiences seem infinitely more apt to follow the beaten path.  We would like to take your hand and lead you slightly astray, if we may; but in doing so, we also hope to entertain you.
